How to Use Gurobi Calculation Unit?

Gurobi is an external solver for solving problems with parallel algorithms, for example, linear programming problems, quadratic programming problems, and mixed-integer problems. The solver has a high capacity for solving large problems due to the use of modern algorithms and the support of latest multi-core processor architectures.

In Foresight Analytics Platform, the Gurobi solver can be used to solve a problem of optimal use of limited resources when setting up a linear optimization block of calculation algorithm.

To use Gurobi, download and install Gurobi Optimizer software from https://www.gurobi.com/ on user computers. The bitness of the software in use should match with the bitness of Foresight Analytics Platform. It is also necessary to get Gurobi license that allows for solving present problems. After this, Gurobi is available for use and can be selected on the Advanced Settings tab in the linear optimization block wizard.
