Setting Up Group of Validation Rules

1. Make sure that the side panel is displayed.

2. Select radio button:

• Source. Radio button in express report.

• Data. Radio button in dashboard.

• Document. Radio button in regular report.

3. Go to the Validation Rules tab.

4. Create a new group of rules or edit the existing one.

TIP. To open the Edit dialog box in the object navigator, select a group of validation rules and double click it or select the Edit context menu item.

Select rules in the Available Validation Rules list. Next:

• Click the Add button.

• Drag rules to the Selected Validation Rules list. The option is available only in the desktop application.

Selected rules will be added to the group.

Select rules in the Selected Validation Rules list. Next:

• Click the Delete button.

• Drag rules to the Available Validation Rules list. The option is available only in the desktop application.

Selected rules will be deleted from the group.

Select the rule in the Selected Validation Rules list and use the buttons:

• . Move rule one position up.

• . Move rule one position down.

The rules order will be changed.

Use the Name field. Type in the required name for group of validation rules.
