Selecting MDM Repository

In the drop-down list  select the MDM repository, which time series data will store time series data. The MDM repository is outdated and is kept for compatibility with previous versions. Select a database instead of the MDM dictionary.

NOTE. Selection of MDM repository or database in use is available only on time series database creation.

Select the checkbox if it is required to store time series data in a database that is different from the MDM repository database, and in the drop-down list  specify the required database.

In the drop-down lists, select required units and measures dictionaries.

If the required dictionary is missing, create it by clicking the Create button

An empty dictionary of the required structure is created in the specified MDM repository.

Select the checkbox if it is required to use measurement units for explicit time series identification. A units dictionary is included into the unique time series database key. When working with time series in the Analytical Queries (OLAP) tool or in the modeling container the Units dimension will be available.
