Searching for Dictionary Element

The Search Element operation is used to make the process of finding required data easier.

To open the search dialog box:

Select the Edit > Search main menu item.
Press CTRL+F.

The Find dialog box opens:

Enter full name or part of the name of the searched element and click the button:

Navigating along the found elements selects the corresponding elements in the dictionary list (in this case variants of the selected element attributes are displayed).
Multiple selection is available in the list. If you select multiple elements while holding down the CTRL key, these elements are also selected in the main list. To select all elements in the list, press CTRL+A or select the Select All context menu item.

To enter advanced search parameters, click the More button. The dialog box looks as follows:

Selecting this checkbox makes search case sensitive.

For example, if the "Report" word is entered into the search field, the elements are found that contain "report" and "REPORT" in their attributes.

Selecting this checkbox enables the user to find only the elements, corresponding attributes of which contain the whole string matching search field string.

Selecting the checkbox enables the user to search without word declension. That is, the whole string is used in search, without word ending.

For example, if the word "Region" is entered into the search field, the output list contains all elements, which attribute values include the "Region" word. If the checkbox is deselected, elements are found, which attribute values include the words "Region", "Regions", and so on.

NOTE. When the Match Whole Word checkbox is selected, the All Word Forms checkbox is disabled.

In the Attributes area select checkboxes for those attributes, by which search should be executed.

By default checkboxes of all visible attributes are selected. Hidden attributes are not displayed in the list.

You can also select and deselect all checkboxes using the Select All and Deselect All buttons.
