Reports allow for exporting selected data or the whole report. To export data to XML, CSV and other formats, use ETL task consumers, and to export the whole report to external formats, select the Report > Export main menu item and choose the required format:
Excel Workbook (*.xlsx).
Excel 97-2003 Workbook (*.xls).
PDF Document (*.pdf).
RTF Document (*.rtf).
PowerPoint Presentation (*.pptx).
Web Page (*.html).
Web Page, single file archive (*.mht).
OpenDocument Spreadsheet (*.ods).
Image (*.emf).
Regular report (*.ppreport);
NOTE. The PPREPORT format is an internal format of Foresight Analytics Platform and it is used to load reports to a local file to further work with them without connecting to the repository.
Regular report for mobile version (*.ppmobile).
NOTE. The PPMOBILE format is an internal format of Foresight Analytics Platform and it is used to load to the Foresight Analytics Platform mobile application. A regular report is shown in the mobile application in the PDF format.
A dialog box for entering export parameters opens after external file format is selected.
The controls on this dialog box change depending upon the file type of the export, but the following radio buttons are always available:
Whole Report. If the radio button is selected, the whole report is exported.
Selected Sheets. If this radio button is selected, select checkboxes of the sheets to export. Hidden sheets are not included in the list.
NOTE. When exporting to the XLS and XLSX format, the Selected Sheets list contains hidden sheets if the Hidden Sheets item is selected in the XLS Export Parameters dialog box.
To export multiple versions of the report formed by the selection of fixed dimensions use batch export.

Conventions:
- report export is available.
- report export is unavailable.
The following export features can be distinguished depending on regular report settings:
If the Print Cell checkbox is deselected for the cells, on export to XLS, XLSX, PDF, or HTML the text, icons and hyperlinks stored in the cell, along with cell background settings, are not exported.
Headers and footers set up for the report, are exported to all formats except for HTML and ODS:
In the output XLS and XLSX file it is available to work with headers and footers using Microsoft Excel tools (Page Settings > Headers and Footers).
If headers or footers for even, odd pages and the first page are set up, after export to ODS and XLS formats (for versions earlier than 2007) the settings determined for the header and footers in odd pages are applied to those on the first page.
If sections of report header and footer contained images when the export is exported to RTF format, then:
If header or footer contains empty sections, adjacent sections are stretched out to take place of empty sections.
If the central section is empty and side sections are not empty, the image stored in the right section is stretched out.
Flash objects are exported as images to all formats except for HTML. Flash objects can be exported to this format both as Flash components or as images.
When the report is exported to PDF or RTF, the sheets with deselected Print with Book checkbox (on the Print tab of the Page Settings dialog box) are not exported.
The output file look depends on the defined page settings.
On exporting to RTF format, footnote numbers are ordered by pages: from the first to the last.
On exporting to XLS or XLSX, only footnote numbers in cells
are exported by default. Footnote numbers are exported if the
appropriate setting is determined by means of the Fore language.
Footnote text is not exported.
Format of the cells that contain footnotes is changed into text
one. In this case:
The chart look may differ from that in the original report.
Formulas, for which footnotes are set, are displayed as text.
Formulas, which refer to cells with footnotes, are not calculated.
NOTE. When the report is printed and exported, the output file may display stamp No. 1 according to the No. 0126-87 Guidelines if the mandatory access control is used as the security policy, and export and print labeling is enabled for the security level.
