Getting Started with the Time Series Analysis Tool

To create a new workbook:

• In object navigator:

• Click the New Object > Workbook button in the Create group on the Home ribbon tab.

• Select the Create > Workbook context menu item of the object navigator.

• Select time series database and:

• Click the Open > In Time Series Analysis button in the Open group of the Home ribbon tab.

• Select the Open With > Time Series Analysis item in the context menu of selected object. The item is available only in desktop application

• Select the Open in Time Series Analysis item in the context menu of selected object. The item is available only in web application

• In the Time Series Analysis tool select the New Workbook item in the Workbook main menu.

To open ready workbook for edit or view:

• In object navigator select the workbook and:

• Click the Open button in the Open group of the Home ribbon tab.

• Select the Open item in the workbook's context menu.

• Double click the workbook.

• In the Time Series Analysis tool select the Open item in the Workbook main menu. In the dialog box that opens select the workbook from the object navigator.

• Main menu. It contains a list of commands that are used to execute various operations with a workbook.

• Ribbon. Contains buttons for creating and setting up a workbook.

• Side panel. It contains time series parameter settings and settings for managing data source dimensions.

• Quick access toolbar. Contains frequently used commands.

• Series tree. It displays a tree-like structure of series of the open data source.

• Statistics panel. Used to view characteristics of the object selected in the working area.

• Working area. It is used to build a workbook.
