How to Import if the Inserted Value is Too Big for Column Error Appears?

If on data importing to time series database the Inserted Value is Too Big for Column error appears, it means that the maximum length of mnemonics is exceeded. By default, mnemonics cannot be longer than 255 symbols and if data including a mnemonics with bigger length is imported, the indicated error appears.

Select the required time series database in the folder tree of the object navigator. The list of objects will display its internal objects.
Open the Data folder (the FOLDER_DATA identifier). The list of metadictionaries of time series database is displayed.
Double click on fact metadictionary. It has name of the Facts_N type and the METAFACTS_K type identifier, where N is the time series database name and K is its key. The fact table will be displayed.
Open table editing wizard:

Select the facts table and click F4.
Select the Edit item in the context menu.

Go to the Fields page in the table edit wizard.
Select the Mnemonics box (the MNEMO identifier) and double click it or click the Edit button. The Table Field Properties dialog box opens.
In the Total Length box enter the mnemonics required length.
Click the OK button in the Table Field Properties dialog box and then the Finish button in the table edit wizard.

The given example of code increases field length for the MNEMO attribute in the time series database with the TSDB_MNEMO identifier.

Add links to the Cubes, Db, Metabase, Rds system assemblies.

Select any required time series database in the object navigator.
Click F4 or select the Edit item in the context menu. The time series database edit wizard opens.
Go to the Attributes page.
Deselect the Series Have Identifiers checkbox.
Click the Finish button.
