Installing Web Application Back End on Apache2

Perform installation under the user who has local administrator permissions.

The web application back end can be installed on Apache2 using the installation package included in the software package. The procedure of web application back end setup differs on different Linux OS versions:

When an installation is executed via a package, two variables will be added to the file with environment variables /etc/opt/foresight/fp9.2-webserver/envvars: PATH_TO_FP and PP_SOM. The variables will have the path to web application files and default BI server URL. If required, correct the values by specifying the actual path and URL. These variables are used in the Apache2 configuration file.

Alternatively, the user can manually set up Apache HTTP Server to access web application resources.
