Creating Directories

Virtual directories must be created in Internet Information Services:

• fpBI_App_v9.2x64 for BI server.

• fp_App_v9.2 for web application.

Creating Directories in Internet Information Services

To create a directory manually, open Server Manager, go to the Roles > Web Server (IIS) > Service Manager IIS section, in the Connections tree go to child elements of server connection, select Default Web Server and select the Add Application context menu item.

• Specify an alias:

• • fpBI_App_v9.2x64 for BI server.

  • fp_App_v9.2 for web application.

• Click the Select button and select the pool created on installing the web application back end:

• • fpBI_App_v9.2x64 for BI server.

  • fp_App_v9.2 for web application.

• In the Physical Path box specify the path selected on installation. The default paths are:

• • For BI server: C:\Program Files (x86)\Foresight\Foresight Analytics Platform 9.2\.

  • For web application: C:\Program Files (x86)\Foresight\Foresight Analytics Platform 9.2 Web Application\.
