Refreshing Workbook

Data sources are refreshed. All data refresh settings are saved along with a workbook.

Autorefresh

Autorefresh enables the user to refresh data on changing of selection and/or with the specified period.

Go to the Home ribbon tab.
Select the Calculated Series checkbox in the drop-down menu of the Autorefresh button.

Calculated series are autorefreshed on changing of their parameters.

To disable the autorefresh mode for calculated series, deselect the Calculated Series checkbox in the drop-down menu of the Autorefresh button.

Go to the Home ribbon tab.
Select the Specify Period radio button in the drop-down menu of the Autorefresh button. The Autorefresh Period dialog box opens:

Set workbook data refresh period in the dialog box. Refresh can be performed each N seconds, minutes, hours.

NOTE. If refresh period has been already set for a workbook, it can be selected in the drop-down menu of the Autorefresh button.

A workbook is autorefreshed once at a specified time period.

To disable regular refresh of data, select the Do Not Use radio button in the drop-down menu of the Autorefresh button.

Set the Do Not Use autorefresh period and deselect the Calculated Series checkbox in the drop-down menu of the Autorefresh button.
Release the Autorefresh button.

Workbook autorefresh is disabled. Refresh request is shown on changing calculated series parameters. On the second click of the Autorefresh button the autorefresh period specified before is set.
