To create a dictionary in the object navigator, select the Create > Dictionary context menu item. The common dictionary creation wizard opens.
Determine standard dictionary parameters on the Basic Properties page:
Name: Calendar.
Identifier: CALENDAR.
Set the list of object parameters on the Parameters page. This example does not require adding dictionary parameters.
Select the radio button next to the Calendar Dictionary on the Dictionary Type dialog box.
Go to the Calendar Type and Actual Period dialog box:
Determine the following parameters:
The calendar type is Years-Half-Years-Quarters-Months-Days
Year starting: 1990.
Year ending: 2005.
Select the checkboxes on the Calendar Structure dialog box:
Years
Quarters
Months.
The Attributes dialog box contains a list of characteristics that each dictionary element will have. This example does not require adding dictionary elements attributes.
To finish the dictionary creation, click the Finish button.
To view the created dictionary, double-click it.
