Setting Up Order of Equation Calculation in Model

1. Click the Add button.

2. Select the Folder item in the menu that opens.

A folder is added after the selected element.

2. Select the Equation System item in the menu that opens. An empty system is added after the selected element.

3. Drag the required equations to the system. Equations of the following types can be combined into a system: Non-Linear Regression, Linear Regression, or Determinate Equation, or Error Correction Model.

The selected equations will be combined to an equation system. For details see the Working with Equation System section.

• Use the Up and Down buttons.

• Drag the element to the required position.

Automatic creation detects dependencies between the equations and orders them according to dependencies.

To automatically create a chain, click the Automatic Order button. The drop-down menu of the button can be used to determine additional parameters:

• Allow Structure Violation. The checkbox is deselected by default, an automatic creation is executed individually for each folder included into the calculation chain. If the checkbox is selected, equations stored in all folders are extracted to the level, for which the chain is automatically created, and the folders are deleted. Thus, calculation order is set up ignoring the folders.

As a result, the equations are ordered according to their dependency. If linear regression, non-linear regression, determinate equation and error correction model equations form a cycle, they are combined into an equation system.

1. Double-click the required element. The name switches to the edit mode.

2. Edit the name.

3. Press the ENTER key.

2. Click the Delete button.

The element is deleted.

NOTE. Deleting is available only for folders and equation systems that do not contain child elements.
