Setting Up General Chart Parameters

To set up parameters of column and pie charts, use the Pie Charts and Column Charts side panel tabs.

Column Chart Parameters

Make sure that the side panel is displayed.
In the workspace select the map with column charts.
On the side panel select the Format radio button and go to the Column Charts tab.

To set up chart columns, use the following parameters:

Height. Specify height range of chart columns. Minimum and maximum height values correspond to the minimum and maximum values of a metric, by which the chart is built.
Column Width. Specify column width.
Distance Between Columns. Specify a distance between chart columns.

To set up color of chart columns, use the Color parameter. Specify the method of column color definition:

Transition. If the radio button is selected, column colors are defined by two-color gradient. Specify start and end colors of the gradient in the drop-down palettes.
Exact Colors. If the radio button is selected, column colors are defined by the user. Specify colors in the drop-down color palettes. The number of palettes matches the number of elements selected in metrics dimension for building column charts.

Pie Chart Parameters

Specify minimum sector angle in the appropriate box for chart sectors.

To set up the color of chart sectors, use the Color parameter. Specify the method of sector color definition:

Transition. If the radio button is selected, colors of sectors are defined by the two-color gradient. Specify start and end colors of the gradient in the drop-down palettes.
Exact Colors. If the radio button is selected, colors of sectors are specified by the user. Specify colors in the drop-down color palettes. The number of palettes matches the number of elements selected in the metrics dimension for building pie charts.
