Refreshing Workbook

Data sources are refreshed. All data refresh settings are saved along with a workbook.

Autoupdate

Autoupdate enables the user to refresh data on changing of selection and/or with the specified period.

Go to the Home ribbon tab.
Select the Calculated Series checkbox in the drop-down menu of the Autoupdate button.

Calculated series are autoupdated on changing of their parameters.

To disable the autoupdate mode for calculated series, deselect the Calculated Series checkbox in the drop-down menu of the Autoupdate button.

Go to the Home ribbon tab.
Select the Specify Period radio button in the drop-down menu of the Autoupdate button. The Autoupdate Period dialog box opens:

Set workbook data update period in the dialog box. Update can be performed each N seconds, minutes, hours.

NOTE. If update period has been already set for a workbook, it can be selected in the drop-down menu of the Autoupdate button.

A workbook is autoupdated once at a specified time period.

To disable regular update of data, select the Do Not Use radio button in the drop-down menu of the Autoupdate button.

Set the Do Not Use autoupdate period and deselect the Calculated Series checkbox in the drop-down menu of the Autoupdate button.
Release the Autoupdate button.

Workbook autoupdate is disabled. Update request is shown on changing calculated series parameters. On the second click of the Autoupdate button the autoupdate period specified before is set.
