Setting Up Task Object

To set up a task object and values of its parameters if they are specified for the object, use the Parameters tab in the task parameters setup dialog box. Object parameters are set on creating or editing object. For example, for the report parameters are used for dynamic management of the data displayed in the report.

Set the following parameters:

Task Object. To select the task object use the drop-down menu of repository objects. Only objects corresponding to the task type can be selected. The cache update task will have access to various types of cubes, dictionaries and time series databases.
Parameter Values. Parameters of the selected task object are displayed in the field. The look of the parameter input boxes depends on parameter types. Determine the parameter values that should be used during task execution. If the selected object is parameterless, this box remains empty.
Refresh Parameter List. The button refreshes parameter values, allowing changes in parameters of the selected object to be shown, in the case when the task was created before the object parameters list has changed.
