The Type property determines type of the ADOMD dictionary.
This property can have the following values:
| Value | Brief description |
| 0 | Unknown. Type is not determined. |
| 1 | Time. Calendar dictionary. |
| 2 | Measure. Dictionary of measures. |
| 3 | Other. The default type for dictionaries that are not calendar dictionaries and not related to measures. |
| 4 | Quantitative. A dictionary containing quantitative elements (for example, the income level and the number of children). |
| 5 | Accounts. Dictionaries which contain structure connections records of the parent-child type. |
| 6 | Customers. A dictionary containing information about clients. |
| 7 | Products. A dictionary containing information about product. |
| 8 | Scenario. A dictionary containing various business scenarios. |
| 9 | Utility. A dictionary that contains only calculated elements. |
| 10 | Currency. A dictionary containing information about currency. |
| 11 | Rates. A dictionary containing different rate types (such as, buy, sell, or with discount). |
| 12 | Channel. A dictionary containing information about channel distribution. |
| 13 | Promotion. A dictionary containing information about marketing and advertising campaigns. |
| 14 | Organization. A dictionary reporting about organization structure. |
| 15 | BillOfMaterials. A dictionary that provides distribution of any material or component. |
| 16 | Geography. A dictionary containing geographical hierarchies. |
