To apply the functionThe Logarithms Difference function calculates the logarithms difference of neighboring series points over a specific period (ln(x[t]/X[t-N])):
dlog PoP. Previous period.
dlog YoY. Corresponding period of the previous year.
dlog YTD. End of the previous year.
The function is included in the group of functions that execute mathematical transformations on series.
After the function is applied, a series with the name of the dlog<Period>(<Series_Name>[t])(<Series_Name>) type and containing calculation results is added to the data table for each of the selected series. For example:
