Selecting MDM Repository

In the drop-down list select the MDM repository with the time series data included in its database.

NOTE. Selection of MDM repository in use is available only on time series database creation.

If it is necessary to store time series data in the database different from the MDM repository database, select the Store Data in a Separate Database checkbox and specify the required database in the drop-down list.

In the drop-down lists, select required units and measures dictionaries.

If the required dictionary is missing, create it by clicking the Create button. An empty dictionary of the required structure is created in the specified MDM repository.

If it is necessary to use measurement units for time series identification, select the Series Mandatory Attribute checkbox. A units dictionary is included into the unique time series database key. On working with time series in the Analytical Queries (OLAP) tool or in the modeling container the Units dimension will be available.
