The Repository Link object enables the user to access objects of other repositories from the current repository. Using a repository connection, you can create shortcuts for objects of the linked repository.
NOTE. Creating and processing the link with repository is available only in the desktop application.
To create a repository connection in the object navigator:
Select the Create > Other> Repository Link context menu item.
Select the New Object > More > Repository Link item in the Create group on the Home ribbon tab.
After executing one of the operations, a wizard creating a repository link opens containing the following pages:
Basic Properties. Object name, identifier and comment are set.
Database Properties. Determines settings of connection to repository base, which should be used on creating a connection.
