Discussing Report in SharePoint

Each report of Foresight Analytics Platform can be published on the SharePoint portal.

Report publishing is available both in the desktop and web applications.

Commands for publishing are available, if the following conditions are fulfilled:

The user account under which the repository is entered, is registered in the SharePoint portal. To do this, contact the portal administrator.
The SharePoint portal address and the group where the discussion is published are specified in the desktop application repository parameters.

Repository parameters for publishing report discussion in SharePoint portal are set up on the SharePoint tab in the Feedback section of the Parameters dialog box.

To open the Parameters dialog box

Determine the following parameters:

SharePoint Site for Repository. Enter URL of the SharePoint portal where reports for discussing will be published.
SharePoint Discussion. Select one of the available discussion groups in the drop-down list.

To publish a report from the navigator:

Select the Discuss item in the object's context menu.

NOTE. This item is available in the desktop application.

Select an object and click the Discuss in SharePoint button on the Home ribbon tab.

To publish a report from the tool window, use the Discuss in SharePoint item in the menu:

Report of the express report main menu.
Regular report of the regular report main menu.
Document of the dashboard main menu.
Workbook of the workbook main menu.
Model of the model main menu.

After one of the operations is executed, the user is redirected to the SharePoint portal page with the published topic Object discussion <published report name>:
