Autofill option is used to automatically create input field value if this field is not linked to an output field. To set up autofill parameters, double-click the input field with the main mouse button. If the input field is linked to an output field, this link must be deleted.
Autofill parameters vary depending on the type of data in the input field.
If required, edit field name and identifier. The identifier must contain only Latin characters, numbers, the _ character, it must not contain spaces and must not begin with the number.
Select the way of creating the field value in the Auto Fill Method drop-down list.
None. Fields are not filled automatically.
Constant. Selected constant appears in the fields. Type of constant data matches the type of field data.
From DB Sequence. This option is available only for integer fields. Sequence is an ordered list of values. Specify a database containing the sequence and sequence identifier in the corresponding fields. Admissible sequence values appear in the input field.
NOTE. The use of sequence is available in repositories based on the following DBMS: Oracle 9.x or later, Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or later, PostgreSQL.
Autoincrement. This option is available only for integer fields. Specify initial value and increment, which is used to calculate a new value for each new record. Each data loading starts with initial value.
Current Date. It is applied only to the fields of the Date type. The current date appears in the input field.
