Setting Up Conditional Formatting

To set up conditional formatting, use the Formatting Condition Parameters dialog box or the Conditional Formatting tab on the side panel. Parameters available for setup depend on formatting condition to be set up, for example:

Available formatting condition types:

• Formatting cells based on their values

• Formatting cells with definite value

• Formatting cells with greatest/least values

• Formatting cells with values greater/less than average

• Formatting cells with unique/duplicate values

• Formatting cells satisfying formula.

NOTE. Take into account the following feature of the scales used for conditional formatting: boundary values are always included into the smaller scale interval. For example, there is a scale with three intervals: less than 25, from 25 to 50, greater than 50. The 25 value is included into the Less than 25 interval, the 50 value is included into the From 25 to 50 interval.
