Data Source Parameters Control

1. Make sure that the side panel is displayed.

2. Select a visualizer in the working area, for which a data source is set.

3. Select the Data radio button on the side panel.

4. Go to the Data Sources Parameters tab.

In the Display Versions drop-down list select an object that opens in the visualizer. Available versions depend on the data source type:

• Standard cube. There are aggregation options that are set up on creating a cube.

• Calculated cube. There are the following options, in which N - calculated cube name:

• N. Cube data.

• FormulasN. Cube data calculated by formulas that are set in the calculated cube formula editor.

• Time series database. There are the following options, in which N - time series database name:

• AttributesN. Time series data for the latest revision by the Fact scenario with the Attributes additional dimension. Elements of the dimension are all attributes of series level and observation level except for system attributes with multiple values.
  If attribute is a link to dictionary, all attributes the used dictionary will be displayed as child elements for it.
  Value editing is available only for observation attributes.

• Full data N. Time series data with the Revisions and Scenarios additional dimensions. The Revisions dimension provides access to time series data for different revisions. The Scenarios dimension provides access to time series data of various scenarios.
  Value editing is not available.

• Scenario data N. Time series data for the latest revision with the Scenarios additional dimension. The Scenarios dimension provides access to time series data by various scenarios.

NOTE. The Scenario data N option is available, if a time series database supports scenarios. For details see description of IRubricator.HasScenarioDimension.

• Actual data N. Time series data for the latest revision by the Fact scenario.

• N. Time series data by the Fact scenario with the Revisions additional dimension. The Revisions dimension provides access to the time series data as for various revisions.
  Value editing is not available.

NOTE. Additional dimensions are displayed in the Selection group of tabs on the side panel.

Set values of data source parameters in the Parameters area.

NOTE. Parameters are available if a parametric cube is a data source, or a visualizer containing parameters is selected in the working area.

To update visualizer data according to the set values, click the Apply Parameters button.

If a dictionary drop-down list configured to calendar dimension is selected as a parameter, on working with the parameter it is available to choose selection mode: By Elements Only, By Levels Only, or By Elements and Levels. Selection mode is set on the Data Source Structure tab of the Structure and Parameters dialog box. Working with selection in such parameter is similar to working with calendar dimension element selection.

1. Click the Structure and Parameters button on the Data ribbon tab. The Structure and Parameters dialog box opens.

NOTE. The button is available in the working area has the selected visualizer that contains a data source.

2. Go to the Manage Parameters tab.
