Discussing Report by Email

NOTE. The PPMOBILE format is a Foresight Analytics Platform internal format, and it is used to load to Foresight Analytics Platform mobile application.

Reports can be sent by email from both the main page of the mobile application and the page of opened report.

NOTE. A report and its sketch can be sent by email if an email application is set up on a mobile device.

Sending Report Sketch

To send a report sketch by email, tap the

button on the main page or the page of opened object, and select the Send by Email > Sketch item.

Depending on the report type, its sketch is saved to one of the following formats:

Report type	Sketch format
Dashboard	PNG
Regular report	PDF
Express report/Table	PDF
Express report/Other visualizers	PNG

If a sketch is sent from the mobile application's main page, a screenshot of the report's current state will be sent in PNG format. The screenshot of the current state is created on the first opening of report and updated on each report saving.

NOTE. If the report has not been opened yet, it will be sent with the current report view in the list of objects - Foresight Analytics Platform splash screen.

If the user sends a page of the opened report, the visualizer title text or the report name is set automatically as the subject line if there is not title.

If the user sends a page of the opened report in PNG format, the Sketch dialog box opens to preview the attachment before sending it. Underlining with a red highlighter is also available before sending the report:

To open the message sending window, tap the Done button. Enter email addresses into the To and Cc/Bcc fields in the message sending window. If required, change the subject line of your message, and then tap the Send button.

To return to the report, tap the Cancel button. Upon tapping the Cancel button you are prompted to delete or save the message draft.

On sending the sketch in PDF format the message sending window opens without the ability to draw with red highlighter.

Sending Report

To send a report by email, tap the

button on the mobile application's main page or the page of opened express report and select the Send by Email > Report item. On sending a report, as opposed to sending a sketch, the message will also contain a report in the PPMOBILE format and its sketch.
