Getting Started

The BISearch assembly is used to manage indexing and full text search by keywords in the structure of multidimensional sources in repository. The specified processes are a basis of BI search service, used in various Foresight Analytics platform tools.

Having studied this section you can use the Fore/Fore.NET languages to:

  • Set up repository to communicate with Apache Solr search platform.

  • Execute indexing or index metadata of any types of repository object.

  • Search by indexed data in various modes.

  • Set up task of search index updating, which helps automate source indexing process.
