Setting Up Style

To set up style, execute one of the following operations:

• Double-click preview area.

• Click the button.

• Select the Edit Format context menu item.

The Formatting dialog box opens.

Formatting style determined in the style editor can be placed to clipboard and then pasted to other style editors.

To copy a style to clipboard, select the Copy context menu item.

To paste style to editor from the clipboard, select the Paste context menu item. This item is available if the clipboard contains a style copied from the style editor.

A style can be passed from one style editor to another style editor without cutting it to clipboard.

To do this:

1. Left-click the style editor preview.

2. Drag the style while holding down the button, and release it over another style editor.

Some Prognoz Platform 9 tools like regular report and express report designers enables the user to link a set of external styles, that is, a special repository object that contains a set of styles.

In this case on hovering over a style editor, the editor shows a button expanding the style menu:

To select a style from a linked list:

1. Click the button to expand the list.

2. Select the required style.
