Setting Up Conditional Formatting

To display the tab:

Select a table item.
Select the Table, Format or Totals radio button on the side panel. The radio button name depends on the area selected in the table.
Go to the Conditional Formatting tab.

The tab look depends on the type of the condition to set up, for example:

NOTE. The option is available only in the desktop application.

To open the dialog box, select some table element, for which conditional formatting is available, then:

Select the Edit Conditions item in the drop-down menu of the Conditional Formatting button on the ribbon. Button position depends on the tool in use. In most cases the button is located on the Home, Format or Table tab. The Edit Conditions dialog box opens. Click the Add or Edit button in the dialog box.
Go to the Conditional Formatting side panel tab. Select the Edit item in the context menu of formatting condition or double-click it with the main button of the mouse.
Open the formatting dialog box and select the Add or Edit item on the Conditional Formatting tab.

The Formatting Condition Parameters dialog box look depends on the type of the formatting condition to set up, for example:

NOTE. On working with the Reports tool, if conditional formatting is set using the Home ribbon tab, it is applied to the report sheet and if it is set using the Format tab - it is applied to the table.

NOTE. Take into account the following feature of the scales used for conditional formatting: boundary values are always included into the smaller scale interval. For example, there is a scale with three intervals: less than 25, from 25 to 50, and greater than 50. The 25 value is included into the Less than 25 interval, the 50 value is included into the From 25 to 50 interval.
