Click the button or select the Check Out for Edit context menu item to make changes. All the changes which are to be made are stored in the files copy on the local disk.
Depending on whether the Automatically Lock Objects for Edit checkbox is selected or not, objects are automatically locked and checked out or corresponding locking confirmation appears. The objects check out by one user are available for checking out by another user.
