Working with Slides

A slide is a single dashboard page that contains various blocks and visualizes particular information. Consequent viewing of slides enables the user to provide a full description of an object.

TIP. To add a slide to the specific location, select the Add Slide item in the slide's context menu, after which add the slide.

Basic Operations with Slides

To set up slide formatting, use the Slide side panel tab. To display the tab:

Make sure that the side panel is displayed.
Select the Slide radio button on the side panel.

The Slide tab is displayed:

Set the following slide parameters:

Fill. Specify slide fill mode. Fill modes:

None. Background fill is not used. Default.
Solid Fill. Background is filled with one color. An additional parameter is available to specify the fill color.
Gradient Fill. Background is filled using a two-color gradient. There are advanced parameters to specify the gradient angle and its start and end colors.

Paddings. It determines whether internal paddings are used on the slide. The checkbox is deselected by default, and paddings are not used. If the checkbox is selected, additional boxes are displayed to enter the paddings' size. Range of available values of paddings: [0; 100].
Custom Size. The parameter is available only in manual mode of the dashboard layout. To set custom slide size:

Select the Custom Size checkbox.
Set working area size in pixels in the Width and Height boxes. To set working area size to fit the screen, click the Fit to Screen Size button.
Set blocks layout. By default, blocks layout is fully determined by the user. If the After Each Other checkbox is selected, blocks are located as follows:

Blocks do not overlap each other.
Blocks are not resized.
Blocks are located horizontally starting from the left corner of the table. Each subsequent block, which is out of the series, is wrapped lower to the nearest available position by height
On resizing the working area, and on hiding or removing blocks, the position of displayed blocks changes according to the principles listed above.

If the After Each Other checkbox is selected, the In Line additional checkbox, which determines block layout mode, is displayed. This checkbox is deselected by default. If the checkbox is selected, all blocks are located in a vertical line.

To create a slide copy:

Make sure that the slide panel is displayed.
Select the Duplicate item in the slide's context menu.

The copy of slide will be added after the copied slide.

To change slide order:

Make sure that the slide panel is displayed.
Select the required slide. To move the slide:

One position up. Select the Bring to Front > Bring Forward item in the slide's context menu.
One position down. Select the Send to Back > Send Backward item in the slide's context menu.
To dashboard start. Select the Bring to Front > Bring to Front item in the slide's context menu.
To dashboard end. Select the Send to Back > Send to Back item in the slide's context menu.

To expand a slide to the entire working area, click the By Window button on the Slide ribbon tab.

To display a slide according to dashboard paper size settings, release the By Window button.

To navigate between slides:

Click on the required slide on the slide panel.
Use buttons on the Slide ribbon tab:

. To move to the previous slide.
. To move to the next slide.

NOTE. If the or button is not available, the end or start of dashboard is reached.

The working area will show the slide, to which the user is moved.
