Collaboration

The collaboration mode enables a number of users at once to exchange messages and build a dashboard. A dashboard owner can control dashboard editing.

NOTE. The Collaboration mode is available only in the web application as a prototype. A fully operational collaboration mode is under development.
The prototype is available if in the PP.xml file the <collaboration enabled="true" /> parameter is specified.

Make sure that the side panel is displayed and the collaboration mode is enabled.
Click on the empty space of the working area.
Go to the Collaboration tab.

Users are connected to collaboration in several stages:

A dashboard owner sends an invitation for collaboration.
To do this, click the Email Shared Link button. The email with a reference to a shared dashboard will be formed. Send the email to all collaborators.
Collaborators join the work with the dashboard.
To do this, open the URL contained in the invitation for collaboration. The dialog box opens:

Enter the name to be used in collaboration and click the Join button. A shared dashboard opens.

Use the box above the Send button. Enter the message text and click the Send button.

Messages of all collaboration participants are displayed on the Collaboration tab.

Click the Stop button. Connected users will be disconnected, and the Collaboration tab will returns to the initial view.
