Collaboration

The collaboration mode enables a number of users at once to exchange messages and build a dashboard. A dashboard owner can control dashboard editing.

NOTE. The Collaboration mode is available only in the web application as a prototype. A fully operational collaboration mode is under development.
The prototype is available if in the PP.xml file the <collaboration enabled="true" /> parameter is specified.

To control collaboration, use the Collaboration tab on the side panel.

To display the tab

To start collaboration:

  1. Determine whether the collaborative editing of a dashboard is enabled. Collaborative editing is not available by default. Select the Enable Editing checkbox to enable editing.

  2. Click the Start button.

The tab changes its view in the collaboration mode:

To connect users to collaboration

To enable message exchange between collaboration participants

To finish collaboration
