Selecting Analysis Type

The location from which data mining is started determines various options of selecting data for analysis:

• From Prognoz Platform 9 reporting tool. Click the button corresponding to the required analysis method in the Data Mining group on the Advanced Analytics ribbon tab:

• From the Object Navigator and the Table repository object. Select the radio button corresponding to the required analysis type in the dialog box:

Prognoz Platform 9 provides the following data mining methods:

• Clustering.

• Exception Search.

• Pattern Substitution.

• Key Factors.

• Association Analysis.

• Forecasting.

NOTE. The Forecasting analysis method is available in all Prognoz Platform 9 tools, except for the Time Series Analysis tool.
