Installing Update Package

Update package installation provides business application integrity control taking into account versions of connected components.

Installing and transferring updates between development, testing and operation systems can be executed using update routes that are set up in the Update Control System tool. To do this, repositories and applications should be connected to an update control system.

To install application update package without update control system, use the Install Update dialog box.

Open the dialog box

To install update package manually, follow the steps:

1. Click the Install Updates button on the Actions ribbon tab. A standard dialog box to select files opens. Select the required update package in the .updpack format and click the Open button.

2. After the file has been selected, the Install Update dialog box opens where component version after update installation should be determined, then click the Install button:

5. When the installation is finished, click the Finish button:
