Publishing Mobile Application Container

To provide access to mobile application container data, publish it to a mobile application server. Before publishing a mobile application make sure that the server is prepared for publishing.

The page is used to set up basic parameters of mobile application container publishing:

In the Virtual Directory box specify path to the virtual directory to publish the mobile application container. In the previous screenshot: test.example.com - mobile application server name, PPMobile_App - virtual directory name. To check connection, click the Check Connection button.

Click the Next button to go to the list of objects to be published.

The page is used to set up publication objects:

Select checkboxes of the objects to be published.

If the checkbox next to the folder is selected, all folder's child objects are selected. If the checkbox next to the folder is deselected, all folder's child objects are deselected.

NOTE. It is available to select only checkboxes of the objects that satisfy publication rules. If an object is selected that cannot be published, the reason appears as to why it cannot be published.

Advanced publication settings are available for the following objects:

Data source (cube or time series database).
Regular report.

Click the Next button to publish.

NOTE. Publishing is executed only for the reports that do not contain configured alternative hierarchy based on dictionary attributes.

After publishing is completed, the wizard page header displays the message with publication results:

The result of publishing of each object is displayed as an icon. For details about object publication progress, click the Details button.

NOTE. If the original dashboard created in the web application contains several slides, the active slide with its markup can be loaded to the mobile application.
