System Requirements for Client Computer

Below are the system requirements for the client computers hardware and software, which should be satisfied for the correct working of the Prognoz Platform 9 desktop application.

Hardware Requirements

Video adapter	Video adapters supporting VGA, with 1024x768 or higher resolution and with 64 Mb or more video memory*	Video adapters supporting Shader Model 3.0, such as: NVidia GeForce 6600 or later. ATI Radeon X1300 or later. Intel G35 (GMA X3500) chipset, Intel G4x, Q4x or later. Video adapters supporting hardware-software architecture CUDA if it is supposed to be used.
HDD	Free space 2 Gb or more**	Free space 2 Gb or more**

* - Working with Tree Map, Bubble Tree, Bubble Chart and Map visualizers will not be available.

** - Free space is given including the space needed to unpack temporary files. By default, temporary files are unpacked to the disk, to which the operating system is installed. The temporary files location is determined in the TMP environment variable.

Software Requirements

	Software
DBMS	Front End of Used DBMS: Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, Teradata, PostgreSQL. Before installing the front end, study the list of supported DBMS versions. NOTE. To correctly connect to Oracle, PostgreSQL DBMS, bitness of Prognoz Platform 9 and Oracle DBMS front end must match. Built-In SQLite DBMS 3.X. The required driver is included to the selected Prognoz Platform 9 distribution kit.
Operating system	Windows 7 Service Pack 1 family. Windows 8 family. Windows 8.1 family. Windows 10 family. Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2 family. Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 family. Windows Server 2012 family. Windows Server 2012 R2 family. Windows Server 2016 family. NOTE. In order Prognoz Platform 9 works correctly, color depth value must be at least 16 bit.
Video adapter drivers	The latest version of the driver for the installed video adapter.
Add-in software	Depending on the add-ins in use, the client computer must have: Microsoft Excel. Microsoft PowerPoint. Microsoft Word. Supported versions are Microsoft Office 2010 SP1 (14.0.6029.1000 - 14.0.7015.1000) or later, Microsoft Office 2013, Microsoft Office 365.
Software for Tree Map, Bubble Tree, Bubble Chart and Map visualizers	Graphics libraries: DirectX 9 or later or OpenGL 3.1 or later (provided with Windows OS).
Software for CUDA use	CUDA Toolkit 7.0. Installation is required if video adapter supports hardware-software architecture CUDA.

Hardware on Working via Web Application

NOTE. If the Prognoz Platform 9 web application is supposed to be used in the work, DBMS front end is not necessary.
